Ion Protocol, a liquidity protocol, has successfully raised a total of $7 million in funding, with contributions from Gumi Capital Cryptos, Robot Ventures, BanklessVC, NGC Ventures, Finality Capital, and SevenX Ventures among others. The funds, totaling $4.8 million, will be used to support and develop Nucleus, a native yield platform designed to address currency aggregation and application chain monetization problems. This new capital infusion is expected to help cultivate new decentralized application use cases within the Ion Protocol ecosystem.
