Giovanni Viciioso, the executive director of stock and alternative products at Huobi HTX,report that the upcoming euro-denominated Bitcoin and Ethereum futures products from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) could potentially encourage the adoption of cryptocurrencies by institutions in the Eurozone. With a diverse range of participants in the multi-billion dollar market, it is expected that some of these participants will also provide liquidity for the euro-denominated products. Viciioso also revealed that the upcoming euro-denominated futures products from the CME have sparked interest from macro hedge funds, small asset management companies, and long-term cryptocurrency investors.
